The Jaguars are coming into this game with a 5-2 record this season and they have been on fire in their recent games as they have won their last 4 straight. They have also had a very tough road though as they had to play 2 games in England, come back to a home game, and then go back on the road the next week to play on Thursday night. Now the Jaguars have had some extra time to rest since they played on Thursday last week but they are also playing their 2nd straight road game and have had to do a lot of traveling over the last month. They are going up against a Steelers team that is 4-2 this season and has been playing much better recently as they have won their last 2 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games. The Steelers have been very good on defense all season as they have allowed just 18 points or less in 3 of their last 4 games and even their offense has been improving recently. They have been scoring more points in each of their last 3 games and their offense played much better with Diontae Johnson returning to the lineup. The Jaguars are going to struggle against this Steelers defense and that is going to be key in this game. Trevor Lawrence played last week with an injury that required him to wear a brace on his knee and his running was a big part of why they beat the Saints as the Saints did not expect him to risk running himself with his injury and had no answer to stop him on defense. The Steelers defense will be ready for him in this game though and they will take advantage of his injury to cause turnovers at home which will be key in this game. The Steelers will cover the spread in this game.
