The Eagles are coming into this game with a 6-1 record this season and they are coming off of a big bounce back win at home against the Dolphins on Sunday night in their last game after losing to the Jets the week before. The Eagles beat the Dolphins 31-17 at home with a banged up Jalen Hurts but that game was also everything to Hurts. Tua Tagovailoa was the player that really made Hurts into what he is today by giving him the chip on his shoulder so beating Tua in their game last week meant everything to him and this is going to be a bit of a let down spot for him. Now the Eagles are going on the road in a divisional game and they have already been vulnerable in their road games this season. They are going up against a Commanders team that is 3-4 this season and has not played well recently as they have lost 4 of their last 5 games. They are coming off of a loss in their last game against the Giants but that was also their 2nd straight road game and now they are going to be hungry to bounce back at home considering how they already have 2 division losses. They are also going to get up for this game since they were the 1st team to beat the Eagles last year when they were the only undefeated team left in the NFL and they already played them in Philadelphia a few weeks ago, losing the game by 3 points in OT in a game they could have won. The Commanders will be ready to try and pull off another upset in this game at home and they will at least keep it close if they do not get the win. The Commanders will cover the spread in this game.
