The Bears are coming into this game with a 2-5 record this season but they have been playing much better in their recent games as they have won 2 of their last 3 games. They won their last game at home against the Raiders 30-12 in a game where they had to start rookie Tyson Bagent in his 1st career start. Bagent played very well in that game but he was also going up against a bad defense as the Raiders have one of the worst in the NFL. Now they are traveling out West for this game on the road and even though the Chargers do not have much of a home advantage, Bagent is still going to struggle on the road in his 1st road start in the NFL as he came from division 2 football where he did not travel very far to play road games. Now he is going across the country in his 1st road start and he is going up against a much better defense as well. They are going up against a Chargers team that is also 2-4 this season and they badly need a win here to claw themselves closer to .500. They have lost their last 2 games but they also played against some of the better teams in the NFL as they lost at home to the Cowboys and on the road to the Chiefs. They will be hungry to bounce back in this game at home after losing to the Chiefs last week in a very important game and this is actually one of the weakest teams the Chargers have had on their schedule up to this point in the season. The Chargers will bounce back in this game and they are going to cover the spread here.
