Loyola Marymount is coming into this game with a 2-1 record this season and they are returning less than half of their team from last year. They also lost their leading scorer from last year, Cameron Shelton, and he pretty much carried the team for them last year. They have not been playing great this season either as their wins were against Westcliff who is not a Division I school and Jackson State who they destroyed at home. They also lost at home to Yale by 3 points and now they are playing their 1st game of the season away from home here. They are going up against a SFA team that is 2-1 this season and returning over 60% of their team from last year. One of the players they are returning is Sadaidriene Hall who was their leading scorer last year and they have picked up some nice talent to fill in the gaps in their starting lineup as well. Their only loss this season was in a close road loss to Middle Tennessee which they lost by 5 points in OT. They also destroyed North American at home and they are coming off of a road win against Northwestern State by 26 points in their last game. SFA has been playing much better this season and they are more road tested as well having played 2 of their 3 games on the road while Loyola Marymount has played all 3 games at home this year.
