The Patriots are coming into this game with a 2-10 record this season and they have been one of the worst teams in the NFL this season. They have struggled a lot on offense as they have not scored more than 7 points in each of their last 3 games, but last week Bailey Zappe finally got to play the whole game and even though they did not score a point, Zappe did not turn the ball over himself at all in the game which is progress for this New England offense. The Patriots have also had a great defense still that has not been allowing many points in their games and has been the reason for why they are still in these tight games. The Patriots defense has been able to keep their recent games very close as they have not lost by more than 6 points in their last 4 straight and their defense has also been very good as they have not allowed more than 10 points in each of their last 3 games. They are going up against a Steelers team that is 7-5 this season but they have lost 2 of their last 3 games now that their offensive troubles are catching up to them. The Steelers are also going with Trubisky here since Pickett is injured and Trubisky has been good in this offense, but mainly when defenses are not planning for him. The Patriots defense has still been playing very well and they will have a good game plan to stop this struggling Steelers offense. Both of these teams are also on short weeks so with not a lot of time for either to prepare, neither team is going to be running away with this game with how bad both offense have been and how good each defense has been as well.
