The Nets are coming into this game with a 15-20 record this season and they have been awful in their recent games. They have lost their last 5 straight games with 4 of those losses coming by 10+ points. Most of those losses have come on the road but they have not been that great at home recently either as they have lost 3 of their last 4 games there with all 3 of those losses coming by 5+ points and their only win in that span was also against the Pistons who have the worst record in the NBA this season. They are going up against a Thunder team that is 23-10 this season and is currently sitting in 2nd place in the Western Conference. The Thunder have improved a lot over the last 3 seasons as last year was a big year for them, but now they have taken another big step this season with Chet Holmgren back healthy in the lineup and the Thunder are now a real force in the NBA. They have been playing very well recently as they have won 5 of their last 6 as well as 8 of their last 10 games. They also have some quality wins in that span as they have beaten teams like the Celtics, the Nuggets, and the Timberwolves who are all top 5 teams in the NBA right now. They are coming off of a close 3 point loss in their last game against the Hawks but that was also an awful spot on a B2B right after they beat the Celtics at home, now they will be hungry to bounce back here and they are the much better team as well.
