Cornell is coming into this game with a 22-6 record this season and they are 11-3 in the conference which was the 2nd best record to finish the regular season. They ended the season with a win in their last game against Columbia but they have not been very consistent coming into this tournament. They have been alternating between wins and losses in their last 5 games and they lost their only 2 games against teams with winning records in the conference in that span. They are going up against a Yale team that is 20-9 this season and also finished with the 2nd best record in the conference at 11-3. They have been much more consistent in the conference despite having the same record though. Yale opened the conference schedule with 8 straight wins before losing 2 straight games on the road against Princeton and Cornell, those 2 games being played during a stretch where they were on the road for 4 straight games as well. They have been much better since those 2 losses though as they finished the season winning 3 of their last 4 games. They are actually coming off of a loss against Brown in their last game of the season but they lost that game by 3 points in OT and they are going to be hungry to bounce back from it here since they have been sitting on that loss all week. They also lost their last meeting with Cornell on the road by 3 points, but that was also a game that Cornell jumped out to an early lead in at home and almost blew it in the end as Yale just came up short of the comeback. Yale will be coming for their revenge in this game and they have the better team with more talent and depth with experience from last season as well. Yale will cover the spread in this game.
