The Cubs are coming into this game with a 7-5 record this season and they are going to be hungry to bounce back here after losing their last series to the Padres. Their offense has been great in their recent games as they have scored at least 5 runs in 3 of their last 4 as well as 8 of their last 10 games, scoring 8+ runs in a majority of those. They are going up against a Mariners team that is only 5-8 to start the season and this is a bad spot for them as well. They had Thursday off but still had to travel back home after playing the Blue Jays in Toronto so this will be their 1st game back on the West Coast while the Cubs just played a series in San Diego. The Cubs will win this game.
