AMEDEUS' MLB GOLD STRIKE!
(MLB) Cleveland vs. Texas,
Money Line: 107.00 Cleveland (Away)
Result: Win
The Guardians are coming into this game with a 26-16 record this season and they have been playing better in their recent games. They have won their last 2 straight games with great pitching as they have not allowed a run in either game, but their offense has also been heating up again as they have scored 7 runs in each of those as well. They are going up against a Rangers team that is 22-21 this season and they have not been playing well recently in a bit of a slump. They have lost their last 3 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games. Their offense has been awful in those as they have scored 4 runs total in their last 3 games, and their pitching has not been good either as they have allowed at least 7 runs in 2 of their last 3 games as well. Jack Leiter is starting for the Rangers in this game and he is 0-0 with a 12.91 ERA this season. He is a rookie pitcher who has only made 2 starts this season, but he was awful in both starts as he allowed 7 earned runs in a little under 4 innings in his first one and followed up by allowing 6 runs, 4 earned, in 4 innings of his last start. He has also allowed at least 7 hits in each of his starts and with the Guardians offense starting to heat up again, the pitching troubles are going to continue for the Rangers in this game. The Guardians have Ben Lively starting in this game and he is 1-2 with a 2.63 ERA this season. He has been very consistent this season as he has not allowed more than 3 earned runs in any of his 5 starts. He has allowed just 1 earned run in 3 of his last 4 starts, he is coming off of a start which he allowed 3 earned runs in, but he has been solid this season and will bounce back in this game. The Rangers offense has not been scoring many runs recently either and the Guardians have the better bullpen to back Lively up as well. The Guardians will win this game.
