Seth Lugo is starting for the Royals in this game and he is 10-2 with a 2.29 ERA this season. He has been very consistent all season and has not been allowing many runs in his recent starts. He has allowed 2 earned runs or less in each of his last 3 as well as 10 of his last 12 starts. He allowed 5 earned runs in a start against the Guardians earlier in June, but he will be looking to have a better performance as the Guardians offense has not been hitting as well recently. Logan Allen is starting for the Guardians and he is 8-3 with a 5.72 ERA this season. He has been allowing a lot of runs in his starts this season and he is coming off of one which he allowed 6 earned runs in. He has also allowed at least 3 earned runs in each of his last 2 as well as 4 of his last 6 starts. The Royals have been hitting well recently and they will be hungry to bounce back here as they have been much better at home all season and are starting to heat up again.
