The Steelers are coming into this game with a 3-0 record this season and they have been playing very well in their games. Their offense has not been great though, scoring no more than 20 points in any of their 3 games. They do have one of the better defenses in the league this season and they have been showing up big in their games, but this is the 1st offense that is really going to test them this season. So far, the Steelers have gone up against a Falcons offense with Cousins playing his 1st ever game in a new system, a Broncos offense with a rookie quarterback playing his 2nd ever NFL game, and a Chargers offense that saw Herbert leave the game due to injury while the Chargers were still leading at the time. Now they are going up against a Colts team that is only 1-2 this season, but they have played much better in their 2 home games and they are going to have some confidence now, coming off of a win against the Bears last week. They have scored 20+ points in both of their home games this season and they have a very balanced offense, running the ball well with Taylor while also throwing well with Richardson. This will also be a tougher offense for the Steelers to defend as the Colts have a very good run game which will open up the passing, but they also have a quarterback that can use his legs and his arm to beat them on the ground himself or with some deep passes. The Colts have struggled to stop the run on defense, but they were much better against the Bears in their last game and this Steelers offense really has not done much to win games with scoring. The passing game has not been there for the Steelers either so the defense can keep them in this game, but they will likely be put in a position where they have to come back and that will disrupt the game plan for them. The Colts are going to cover the spread in this game.
