The Bills are coming into this game with a 3-1 record this season and they are coming off of their 1st loss of the season after starting the year 3-0. They lost on the road against the Ravens on Sunday night and they got blown out 35-10. They are going to be hungry to bounce back in this game though. They are going up against a Texans team that is 3-1 this season, but they have not been as dominant in their wins as they are facing a bit of regression from their great season last year. All 3 of their wins have been in very close games, beating the Colts by 2 points, the Bears by 6 points, and the Jaguars by 4 points in their last game with a very late go ahead score. Their 1 loss was a blowout though, losing 34-7 to the Vikings. They made some big moves to improve the offense in the offseason, bringing in former Bills player Stefon Diggs as well as Joe Mixon in the run game, but Mixon is injured and that is a big blow in this game. The Bills defense has been very good this season but they got shredded on the ground in their game against the Ravens last week. With Mixon out and Pierce also questionable, this Texans run game has not been good at all, led by Cam Akers, and they are going to struggle to attack this Bills defense because of it. Diggs will want to make a big impression against his former team, but there is also a whole team of players on the Bills that want to prove that they are better off without him and their new style of play. The Bills have a very balanced offense with their new style so moving the ball will not be an issue here. The Texans have also struggled to stop the run in all of their games so the Bills can rely on that to open up the passing game for them. The Bills will cover the spread in this game.
