The Suns are coming into this game with a 1-0 record this season and they are coming off of a win against the Clippers in their last game. They beat the Clippers on the road 116-113 in OT and ruined the opening night for the Clippers in their new building. They are going up against a Lakers team that is 1-0 this season and they are coming off of a win in their last game as well. They beat the Timberwolves at home in their 1st game of the season, winning 110-103. They played very well in that game to take advantage of a Timberwolves team that just traded away one of their key pieces in KAT and was trying to figure out their game on the court with their new additions. The Lakers outscored them by 14 points in the 2nd quarter and the Timberwolves were never able to recover from that. The Suns faced a lot of adversity in that 1st game though as they took a lead in the 1st half, lost it in the 3rd quarter, and then fought back to force OT and win the game. That win is going to give the team confidence coming into this game and the Suns have won the last 2 straight meetings with the Lakers as well. The Suns will cover the spread in this game.
