The Jets are coming into this game with a 7-0-0 record this season but they are ripe to have their 1st loss of the season. They have been dominating opponents all season with their good defense, but recently they have been struggling more since starting the road trip they are on. They have played their last 2 games on the road and they were much closer games that were both decided by 1 goal. They beat the Blues 3-2 on the road and now they are coming off of a 4-3 win in OT against the Kraken in their last game. Both of those games were much closer than the 5 games they played at the start of the season and they even needed to come back in both of those road wins as they were trailing in each. They are going up against a Flames team that is 5-1-1 this season and has also been very hot to start the year. They are coming off of a 4-2 loss at home against the Hurricanes in their last game, but they are going to be hungry to bounce back here as they have been playing very well at home this season. Prior to that loss, they had won 3 straight games at home and scored 13 goals in those 3 games while allowing 7 goals. They have also won both of their games against Canadian teams this season, beating both the Canucks and the Oilers on the road, so they are going to get up for the Jets here as they are also the only undefeated team left in the league. The Flames will win this game at home.
