The Devils are coming into this game playing in a lot of high scoring games this season. They have also been playing very well recently as they have won their last 2 straight games and their offense has been on fire in those, scoring 6 goals in each of their last 2 games. They are coming off of a 6-0 win against the Canucks in their last game and they will be carrying that confidence into this game in Calgary. They are going up against a Flames team that has also been playing in a lot of high scoring games this season. They have not been trending to the over in their recent games, but they have seen 5+ goals total in their last 5 straight games and a lot of those have been lopsided games. They started the season very hot with a great start, but now they have lost their last 4 straight games and their defense has been awful. They have allowed at least 5 goals in each of their last 3 games as well as at least 4 goals in each of their last 4. Their offense has not been good as they have only scored 1 goal total in their last 2 games, getting shut out by the Golden Knights 5-0 in one of those, but now they are back at home and will be hungry to bounce back and snap their losing streak. Their offense was on fire to start the season as well so they are going to have a response in this game after the way they lost their last 2, but the Devils are also going to find the net with the way they have been scoring goals recently. The Flames will not be able to keep the Devils out here, but they are also going to be very hungry to stop the bleeding and bounce back with a better performance so they are going to find the net at home. Between these two sides, there will be enough goals in this game to push it over the total.
