The Colts are coming into this game with a 4-4 record this season and they have been playing in some lower scoring games in their last 3, but Anthony Richardson was the starting quarterback for 2 of those games. Joe Flacco is going to be the starter for this game as he has been in great form going back to last season with the Browns, and the Colts offense has played much better with him starting as well. In the 3 games that Flacco got most of the playing time in, the Colts scored 20+ points in all 3 games and were averaging 27 points scored per game in those. They are going up against a Vikings team that is 5-2 this season and after winning 5 straight games to start the season, they have now lost their last 2 straight. They lost 31-29 at home to the Lions and they are coming off of a 30-20 loss on the road to the Rams in their last game, but that game was on Thursday night so they have some extra rest for this game. They have also been playing in higher scoring games recently with 3 of their last 4 games seeing 51+ points total in them. Their offense has been great as they have scored 29+ points in 3 of their last 5 games and their offense has been very consistent as well, scoring 20+ points in all 7 of their games this season. Their defense has been starting to get exposed though, allowing 30+ points in each of their last 2 as well as 29+ points in 3 of their last 4 games. Flacco has the weapons with this offense to score points on the Vikings here and they also have a very good running back in Jonathan Taylor who is back healthy and running well. They will move the ball well keeping the Colts in this game, and they can also score points of they need to play from behind with Flacco passing the ball well. The Vikings will also be able to move the ball well though as this Colts defense has not been great, and they always come out strong to start their games so they will be pushing to score right away and force the Colts to make a response. Between these two sides, there will be enough points in this game to push it over the total.
