They are not in the running for the Championship game right now, but they are going to get up at home for one of the better teams in the conference and a win would really spoil Bowling Green's chances of getting to the Championship. CMU has been playing in a lot of high scoring games recently as well, seeing 52+ points total in each of their last 3 as well as 4 of their last 5 games. Their defense has been awful in these as they have allowed 30+ points in 5 of their last 7 games as well as 38+ points in each of their last 2 games. Their offense has also been scoring in those games, scoring 25+ points in 2 of their last 3 as well as 3 of their last 5 games. They have also been much better at home this season as they are 3-1 there and 3 of their 4 games at home have seen 52+ points total in them as well. Both of these teams have bad run defenses that have been allowing a lot of yards as well as over 4.7 yards per carry so both teams will have success running the ball here and that will lead to more offense through the air as well. Central Michigan has also been much better and more competitive at home this season so they are going to give up points with that awful defense, but they will keep themselves in this game with their offense as well. Between these two sides, there will be enough points in this game to push it over the total.
