The Bengals are coming into this game with a 4-5 record this season and they have been playing much better in their recent games. They have won 3 of their last 4 games and are coming off of a 41-24 win at home in their last game, but their wins in that span were not against quality opponents. All 4 of their wins this season have come against teams that are currently 2-7. They are going up against a Ravens team that is 6-3 this season and has been playing very well in their recent games. They have won 6 of their last 7 games with their only loss in that span coming against the Browns, but they bounced back from that loss with a 41-10 win over the Broncos in their last game. The Bengals have struggled to stop the run this season as they were smashed on the ground by the Eagles in their game 2 weeks ago, and the Ravens have one of the better run games in the league with Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson using his legs as well. This is a Ravens offense that has scored 40+ points in 2 of their last 3 as well as 3 of their last 5 games, scoring 30+ points in 5 of those 6 games as well, so they are not going to stop this Ravens offense on the ground. That will only open up the passing game as well and Jackson has been burning teams with the weapons he has on the outside as well. The Bengals also have a lot of weapons on offense, but they will likely be without Higgins in this game and that is going to be a blow against a Ravens defense that improved a lot last week. The Bengals have also struggled on defense all season with one of the worst in the league. They have not been allowing as many points recently against weaker opponents, but their only opponent above .500 in their last 4 games scored 37 points on the road against them. The Ravens will play better defense at home and that will be the difference here as this Bengals defense will not be able to stop the Ravens offense. The Ravens will cover the spread in this game.
