AMEDEUS' NFL NFC EAST TOTAL OF THE MONTH!
(NFL) Commanders (WAS) vs. Eagles (PHI),
Total: 49.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Win
The Commanders are coming into this game with a 7-3 record this season and they have not been playing in low scoring games recently. They have seen 49+ points total in each of their last 2 games, but prior to that they did stay under 48 points in 2 straight games. Their offense has been very good all season as they have not had many games where they get held under 20 points, but they did struggle more against a very good Bears defense as they won that game scoring just 18 points, and they are about to run into another good defense that has been improving heavily over the last month. They are going up against an Eagles team that is 7-2 this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They have won their last 5 straight games and their defense has been great in these. Their defense was one of their biggest problems at the start of the season, but now they are getting into a rhythm and have not been allowing many points recently. They have allowed just 17 points or less in 4 of their last 5 games and they have allowed 6 points or less in 2 of their last 4. The Commanders have had a very good offense this season, but the Eagles have been defending the run very well in their recent games and that will throw a wrench into this Commanders game plan as they are going to be trying to establish the run. The Eagles will be able to shut that down though and that is going to cause problems for this Commanders offense all game. The Commanders have not been bad on defense themselves though, allowing 15 points or less in 4 of their last 7 games, but they have struggled to stop the run which is one of the strong points of this Eagles defense. The Eagles will be looking to run the ball a lot against this defense and that is going to milk the clock. They will also try to run the ball with longer offensive drives to keep the Commanders offense off the field longer and keep the ball out of Jayden Daniels hands. This is going to be a lower scoring and more defensive game that stays under the total.
