South Florida is coming into this game with a 4-5 record this season and they are 2-3 in the conference. They have been playing well in their recent games as they have won 2 of their last 3 games, but they are coming off of a loss in their last game, losing 28-7 at home to Navy. Their offense has been better recently as they have scored 30+ points in 2 of their last 3 games, but they are coming off of a game which they scored 7 points against Navy at home and they have also scored just 15 points or less in 4 of their last 6 games, scoring 7 points or less in 2 of their last 4 as well. They are going up against a Charlotte team that is 3-6 this season and they are 2-3 in the conference. They have not been playing well in their recent games as they have lost their last 3 straight, coming off of a 34-3 loss in their last game at home, but they have also had a very strong schedule in that span. Their losses in those 3 games came against an 8-2 Tulane team, a 7-2 Navy, and an 8-2 Memphis team, and their last loss prior to this 3 game losing streak was a loss to 10-0 Indiana. They have played much better against weaker teams though, like their wins against East Carolina and Rice, and they will play better in this home game against a South Florida team that has not been great on defense. South Florida definitely has some holes on defense as they are allowing 162.3 rushing yards per game and 267 passing yards per game as well. Charlotte has played much better defenses in their last 3 games, but they will be hungry to bounce back at home and they will have plenty of options to move the ball both on the ground and through the air against this USF defense.
