The Ravens are coming into this game with a 7-3 record this season and they have been playing well in their recent games. They have won their last 2 straight as well as 7 of their last 8 games and their offense has been on fire in these games. They have scored 35+ points in each of their last 2 as well as 3 of their last 4 games and they have also scored 30+ points in 6 of their last 7 games. They have not faced many good defenses in that span though, the only top 5 defense they saw being the Broncos which they did score 41 points against, but that game was also at home. They are going up against a Steelers team that is 7-2 this season and they actually have a much better defense than the Broncos right now, allowing 16.2 points per game which is 2nd in the league. This will also be a much tougher game for the Ravens as it is on the road against a better Steelers defense, and the Steelers are also a divisional team which is something the Ravens have struggled with this season. The Ravens are currently 2-1 in the division, beating the Bengals twice but by 3 points or less in each of those, and they also have a road loss against the Browns. The Steelers are going to get up for this divisional game at home since it is their 1st division game of the season and this is going to have major implications for who wins the AFC North as well. The Ravens were the number 1 seed in the AFC last season at 14-3, but they lost both of their games to the Steelers and this is a much better Steelers team now. The Ravens have also improved with a much better run game this season due to Derrick Henry, but the Steelers have been stopping the run well this year and Tomlin knows how to scheme his defense to stop Lamar Jackson. The Steelers have also had a much better passing game since Wilson took over and the Ravens have been getting torched through the air all year. The Steelers will cover the spread in this game.
