Total: 46.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
The Patriots are coming into this game with a 3-8 record this season and they have been playing much better in their recent games. They have won 2 of their last 4 games with both of their losses in that span coming by 1 score. They are coming off of a 28-22 loss at home against the Rams in their last game and their offense has been much better recently as they have scored 17+ points in their last 4 straight games. Drake Maye continues to improve in this offense and has been playing against better defenses in recent weeks as well, but he will have an easier time moving the ball here. They are going up against a Dolphins team that is 4-6 this season and they have also been playing much better in their recent games. They have won their last 2 straight games, but they have played much better on offense in their last 4 games since Tua came back from his concussion. They are coming off of a 34-19 win against the Raiders at home in their last game and they have consistently scored 23+ points in their last 4 games, scoring 27+ points in 3 of those. Their defense has not been great though as they have allowed 19+ points in 3 of their last 4 games, allowing 28+ points in 2 of those games as well. This has led to much high scoring games recently as they have seen 50+ total points in 3 of their last 4 games. These 2 met earlier this season and the Dolphins won that meeting in New England 15-10, but that game was also Tyler Huntley vs Jacoby Brissett and both of these offenses have come a long way since then. This is going to be a more competitive game as the Patriots will be able to move the ball against this Dolphins defense that has been allowing more points recently, but the Dolphins have been heating up on offense themselves and will be pushing to stay in this playoff conversation. Between these two sides, there will be enough points to push this game over the total.
