The Bearcats are a much better team at home and in this spot should be able to win and cover this game against Texas State. Sam Houston has played a semi tough schedule and have lost close games to the bigger schools like Ole Miss and have wins against ULM, and Troy so being at home against Texas State is the ideal spot for them as they have won their last four home games and they are great at getting to the free throw line. Texas State is coming into this matchup off a loss as well but are still struggling to be consistent on their offense. The Bearkats should be able to put forth a better bounce back defensive effort in this game that will be really close all the way until they pull away near the end to cover.
