MACK'S CFB **RELIAQUEST BOWL!
(NCAAF) Wisconsin vs. LSU,
Point Spread: -9.00 | -105.00 LSU (Home)
Result: Loss
Wisconsin will have QB Mordecai but a lot of their starters are in the portal so they will be at a true disadvantage when they play LSU. The Tigers won't have Heisman winner Jayden Daniels at quarterback but sophmore QB Garrett Nussmeier, son of NFL great Doug Nussmeier, is making his debut and according to coach Kelly, "he can run and throw it well and knows the offense well". LSU has all but one starter playing so they will be ready to win this bowl game. LSU had the highest scoring offense this season in the league with 46.6 points per game. They still should be able to put up the offense with Nussmeier against a weaker Wisconsin team that struggled in their own conference to get wins and did not win their conference. LSU's defense is not as good as Wisconsin but their offense should overtake the game as they have the better talent and depth over Wisconsin, and LSU should have no problems scoring on Wisconsin as they are head and shoulders above them. Mordecai was not good this season at quarterback when he played, and his lack of skill and abilities will show greatly in this game as this is a step up in talent for them. Take the much better team in LSU.

Wisconsin are 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games against an opponent in the Southeastern conference. The SEC is 8-2 SU and 6-4 ATS versus the Big 10 in the last three seasons. LSU is 22-7 ATS in road games after 2 consecutive games where they forced 1 or less turnovers since 1992. Wisconsin are 1-2 ATS this season and 3-10 ATS since 1992 after outrushing opponent by 125 or more yards last game. LSU are 7-3 ATS this season as a favorite. LSU are 3-1 ATS this season and 6-1 ATS in the last three seasons off a win by 10 points or more over a conference rival.

Best bet: lay the points with LSU.
