The Cavaliers will have a lot of backups in the game as they rest their starters so the Hornets have a fighting chance in this game to possibly win it, but cover for sure. Surprisingly, Charlotte has won two of their last three games head to head, splitting this season’s series, so they know this team. Cleveland are 4-9 against the spread in their last 13 games and they are 1-7 against the spread versus Southeast Division opponents this season. The Hornets are a young team and they are 5-3 against the spread this season when playing their 3rd road game in 5 days. Even though they got blown out by the best team in the league (Boston) in their last game, they are 6-5 against the spread this season off a road blowout loss of 20 points or more. Cleveland are 3-9 against the spread when they are favorites of ten or more points this season. This is the case again of too many points. Take the underdog.
