Arizona has been hitting the cover off of the ball for over a month now and this series between them in the last 2 seasons has gone over in the majority of their games. Arizona has gone over in 9 of their last 13 games versus NL opponents and Colorado has averaged 4-5 runs in their last six games so their offense isn’t completely gone. Trevor Gordon only has six starts to the season and he has an ERA of 6.15 so he’s coming into this game as a very unpredictable and inconsistent pitcher. Jordan Montgomery hasn’t pitched his best for a while, and was terrible in two of his last three starts, and he’s sporting an ERA of 6.37. Both pitchers are in vulnerable spots in this game, and very hittable, while both offenses are capable of strong hitting right now so this game should go over the total.
