(NCAAF) Cardinals (LOU) vs. Cavaliers (UVA),
Point Spread: 7.50 | -115.00 Cavaliers (UVA) (Home)
Result: Win
Louisville doesn’t have a great record versus the Cavaliers who host them at home and they come into this game off two consecutive bad losses. The Cavaliers are 7-3 against the spread in their last ten games versus the Cardinals. This is a look ahead spot for both. Virginia has Clemson on deck while Louisville plays Miami next. This game should be a lot closer as both will not want to show too much in this game. Both have good defenses that are similar in strength so there really isn’t an advantage to either, but Virginia knows how to play this team. Colandrea should be able to do enough to run the ball, control the clock and cover this game. If there are any mistakes by the Cardinals, Virginia is good enough to capitalize on them and that could tilt the game in their favor as far as getting an outright win as Louisville are not playing good right now as they make a lot more mistakes. Virginia has the edge being at home and that could tilt it enough and 7 points might be a tad too much in this spot. These two have split the last six games against each other. Louisville is 0-6 against the spread on the road as a favorite of 3.5 to 10 points and they are 1-7 against the spread after playing a game at home. Virginia is 6-2 against the spread as an underdog of 3.5 to 10 points and are 2-0 against the spread at a home underdog of 7.5 to 14 points. Virginia is 5-0 against the spread after allowing 14 points or less last game.

Best bet: take the points with Virginia
