Instead, the Diamondbacks hit Burnes hard and the Brewers stranded 11 runners after jumping out to a 3-0 lead. News of Brewers' starter Woodruff's shoulder injury only added to their woes. Zac Gallen has had the Brewers' number this year at 2-0 in two starts with an ERA under one. The Brewers had to go deep into their bullpen on Tuesday which will add to the difficulty ahead.
