After not being the answer at Clemson or Oregon State, new Florida State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei did little to silence the haters last Saturday in Dublin when he threw for just 193 yards against a much-improved Yellow Jackets defense.
Fortunately for the ‘Noles, he should have a little more time in the pocket against a BC defense that was last in the country in sacks last year, averaging less than one per game.
The bad news for Florida State is they will be going up against a much more complete quarterback than they faced in Tech’s Haynes King. Thomas Castellanos is one of the top dual-threat QBs in the ACC, throwing for 15 TDs and rushing for 11 more.
I don’t have a ton of faith in either one of these defenses and I expect both quarterbacks to have big days. This total should be set at 54 or above and the value on this game lies in the Over.
