Stephen Nover's Free Monday MLB Play
(MLB) Boston vs. Atlanta,
Money Line: -124.00 Boston (Away)
Result: Win
It's hard not to like the Red Sox at a short chalk price, moreso when they are facing a rookie pitcher.

The Red Sox are 11-3 during interleague competition and draw Braves rookie righty Touki Toussaint. Atlanta has a losing record in interleague at 8-9.

Toussaint does bring strong minor league credentials. He pitched well in his big league debut on Aug. 13 in his previous start giving up one run on two hits in six innings. That came against the Marlins, though.

Boston is 50 games above .500 sitting on the best record in baseball. The Red Sox are a mind-blowing 76-30 versus righty starters. They also are 30-8 in day games. Toussaint ain't facing the Marlins this time. He really has to step up. Boston leads the majors in many offensive categories, including runs, batting average and OPS.

Red Sox starter Nathan Eovaldi is streaky. I believe he'll be strong here having been limited to only two innings during his last start because of rain this past Friday. Eovaldi has a 2.82 lifetime ERA against the Braves in 13 starts and a 2.06 ERA in six interleague starts this season.

(Editor's note: Stephen Nover easily won his Game of the Week with the Rockies on Sunday and has found his Situational Game of the Month on today's baseball menu in addition to this free selection.)
