Two things usually happen when Seattle's Yusei Kikuchi takes the mound: The Mariners lose and the total goes Over. The Over is 15-3-1 (83%) in Kikuchi's last 19 starts.

Kikuchi has really struggled against the Angels with a 10.91 ERA in four starts against them this year. It's not just the Angels. Kikuchi is in terrible form with a 1-5 record and 7.29 ERA during his last nine starts.

The Mariners should contribute their share of damage. They draw fill-in starter Dillon Peters, who is taking the place of injured Andrew Heaney. Peters has yet to prove he can pitch in the majors. The Mariners went against him last month and tagged Peters for three runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Marvin Hudson is slated to be the home plate umpire. The Over is 12-6 when Hudson has been calling balls and strikes.
