Stephen Nover's Free CBB Thursday Play
(NCAAB) Cincinnati vs. Temple,
Point Spread: 2.50 | -105.00 Temple (Home)
Result: Loss
Cincinnati wasn't playing well going 1-6 SU and ATS in its last seven games. And that was before COVID-19 struck its program. Now the Bearcats will be in action for the first time in 25 days having endured six postponements and countless lost practice time.
Never mind not being in rhythm. The Bearcats aren't even sure of their rotation. Cincinnati coach John Brannen said he's expecting some of his walk-ons to not only see action, but log quality minutes.
Temple lost 81-64 to Tulane at home this past Friday. There was a pregame tribute to the Owls' legendary former coach John Chaney. Perhaps their minds were in a fog, but the Owls didn't play well. Tulane also shot 50 percent from the floor.
I'm anticipating the Owls to play much better helped by Cincinnati's short-handed and rusty situation.
