Tim Miles had good success at Nebraska. He was an excellent hire by San Jose State. I look for the Spartans to be competitive against Cal-State Fullerton at home - if not pull off an outright upset - in Miles' San Jose coaching debut.

The Titans gave up 83 or more points in six of their last seven games last season and they surrendered 84 points to Santa Clara in their season-opener, an 84-77 road loss.

Fullerton is not a good defensive team. The Titans are not a good road team and have failed to cover seven of the past 10 times when favored.
