Stephen Nover's MLB Free Monday Play
(MLB) NY Yankees vs. Toronto,
Money Line: 102.00 Toronto (Home)
Result: Loss
The Yankees have the best record in baseball. They are good. But so are the Blue Jays. And Toronto has played a more difficult schedule.

New York's last 15 games have come against the Royals, Orioles, Indians and Tigers. Those four teams are a combined 32-53. Now the Yankees face a real opponent.

Toronto is 9-4 at home. The pitching matchup is lefty Jordan Montgomery versus Ross Stripling. These are both middle of the rotation type starters. The Blue Jays, though, are 8-1 the past nine times they've faced a southpaw starter, including winning the past five times against them.

Toronto leads the majors in homers. The Blue Jays also have a great knack for winning one-run games going 9-2.

This is enough for me to take a plus price with the Blue Jays at home.
