Memphis is at the very least two tiers above the Rockets, more experienced, talented and deeper than Houston. The Rockets have had the worst record in the NBA the last two seasons. They could make that three in a row this season.

The Rockets are in a massive rebuild with 11 of their 13 rostered players having less than three years in the NBA. Rockets coach Stephen Silas said it out loud that his extremely young team is disjointed after the Rockets lost, 117-107, on the road to the Hawks.

Houston has no one near the caliber of Memphis superstar Ja Morant.
