Look for the Avalanche to come back strong after suffering a 3-2 home loss to the Kraken last night. It's early in the season so there shouldn't be a fatigue factor playing for the second consecutive day.

Even with that loss, the Avalanche are the fourth-highest scoring team in the league at 4.2 goals. They also are No. 1 on the power play. The Golden Knights have yet to face a top line as talented as Colorado's Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Ranfanen and Valeri Nichushkin. Las Vegas' goalies have been playing above their heads. Regression is likely coming.
