Looking for a conference tournament upset? You may just get one in this second-round Sun Belt Conference matchup between favored Old Dominion against Texas State at neutral site Pensacola, Florida.

The margin may seem small, but given these teams lack of offense it's a good cushion for Texas State to at least cover the spread if falling short of the outright upset.

Texas State averages 65.6 points a game. Old Dominion averages 67.9 points. Texas State is the better free throw shooting team and has momentum.

The Bobcats have been scoring better down the stretch averaging 74 points during their last five games. They shot 51.9 percent from the floor in beating Georgia State, 81-76, in the first round of the Sun Belt Tournament two days ago.

Old Dominion had a first-round tournament bye. The Monarchs haven't played in nearly a week. They don't have a player who averages more than 14 points a game.

The teams met once this season. The Monarchs nipped the Bobcats, 70-68, on the road. Texas State was favored in that game. Now the point spread difference from that matchup is around six points. That's too much and not justified.
