(NCAAF) Iowa vs. Nebraska,
Total: 25.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
The average total on Iowa's past six games is 32.6 points. Yet it has been a sucker's play to go Over because the Under won in each of these six games.

But now the record for lowest total in a Power 5 matchup has been shattered by this Over/Under number in the Iowa-Nebraska game.

Call me a sucker, but I have to believe these two teams find a way to produce at least 26 points.

Iowa quarterback Deacon Hill went 19-for-29 passing for 167 yards and one TD in the Hawkeyes', 15-13, win against Illinois last week. Hill is well below par, but he is improving. Nebraska ranks 58th in pass defense. The week before that game, Iowa put up 22 points on Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights give up fewer yards per game than Nebraska and 19.1 points a game while the Cornhuskers allow 18.7 points per game.

Nebraska has scored at least 17 points in seven of its past nine games. The Cornhuskers rank 28th in rushing. They are going with Chubba Purdy, who I believe is their best quarterback. Purdy faced a good defensive team in Wisconsin last week and had 274 all-purpose yards running and throwing while accounting for two touchdowns.

Remember, the Hawkeyes recently lost Cooper DeJean, their best defensive back and one of their top defenders.
