(MLB) Detroit vs. Milwaukee,
Money Line: -165.00 Milwaukee (Home)
Result: Loss
The 15-8 Brewers haven't lost three games in a row all season. I don't see that happening to Milwaukee here. The oddsmaker doesn't either, making the Brewers a strong home field favorite.

Detroit got the better of Milwaukee, 4-2, on Monday dealing the Brewers their second consecutive defeat.

The Tigers are 4-9 on the road. They've scored just nine runs in their last five games. This isn't that shocking considering the Tigers rank last in runs, batting average and OPS. The Brewers, by contrast, rank from seventh to 12th in those categories.

Milwaukee starter Eric Lauer is one of the more underrated backend starters in the league. The Brewers are 3-1 in his four starts this season. Lauer has given up two runs or fewer in three of those starts. He's backed up by a rested Devin Williams, one of the better closers in the American League.

The Tigers are going with Spencer Turnbull, who is 1-3 with a 7.85 ERA.

The Brewers earn all the checkmarks here justifying laying this price.
