(NFL) NY Jets vs. NY Giants,
Point Spread: -3.00 | -110.00 NY Jets (Away)
Result: Push
Jets coach Robert Saleh can say some goofy things. But you have to give him and the Jets credit for a 3-3 record after losing Aaron Rodgers on their opening series of the season. The Jets nearly beat the Chiefs and they did upset the Bills and Eagles. They certainly can defeat the Giants by more than a field goal.

First off, there's no home field advantage here for the Giants even though they are listed as the home team. Both teams play at MetLife Stadium.

Second, the Jets own huge edges in the trenches. The Giants have 11 sacks. Their quarterbacks have been sacked 37 times, which is scary considering both Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor are mobile. The Giants have already been forced to use six different offensive line combinations because of multiple injuries. Their star left tackle, Andrew Thomas, hasn't played since opening week and is doubtful to face the Jets.

Despite playing four elite offenses in their six games - Bills, Cowboys, Chiefs and Eagles - the Jets are surrendering fewer than 20 points a game. The Giants are the lowest-scoring team in the league at 12.1 points per game.

Taylor is going to get another start with Jones still out. He's not going to fare well playing behind a makeshift offensive line against a tough Jets defense that gets back their starting cornerbacks, Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed. That's a well-above average cornerback tandem.

Unlike the Giants, the Jets enter the matchup fresh following their bye week. I prefer improving Zach Wilson over the 34-year-old journeyman backup Taylor. Wilson has completed 67.4 percent of his throws for 630 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in his last three games. The Jets have more trust and confidence in Wilson now.

The Jets have averaged 23.6 points during their past three games. That would be above average scoring if computed for the entire season.
