Taking the JETS here. We probably should have grabbed these guys early in the week at -1 but I waited to see where the smart-money was moving. And it on the NYJ. Look. Jets played a tough one last week. And they did lose on a last second penalty. But let's be honest. Down 10 and getting a FG 18 seconds left isn't a heart breaking, last second, soul crushing loss. This game was 23-20 NE before Brady iced it with a TD pass to Gronk with over a minute left. Now, I like Carr. But he isn't Brady. And even though Oakland is improved and ambushed SD on the road, I do not like them in this spot. This isn't Rexy's Jets. The new regime is much more business like. FitzMagic won't be missing meetings to watch TeleTubby movies like a previous QB here. I will gladly take this NYJ defense here. I think everyone is believing a little too much in Oakland. Again. Jets defense is a top unit. I like the steady veterans of Fitzy, Decker, Marshall and Ivory over the youngsters of Raiders Nation. I think this Jets team believes in their HC.
