Taking TAMPA BAY. Now - I say this as a guy with a Cubs Over ticket and a Cubs Central ticket - geez. What a mess! 4 straight losses, 6 of 8 and losses in 11 of 14. Forget not scoring runs, you won't win giving up 8-8-9-10-12-7-7-6-16-11 run. There is also a 2-1 loss in their 11 losses and in the three wins, 4-2, 7-2, 10-1. Enter the Rays who are the best hitting team in the league. Tampa sends out rookie Taj Bradley for his 6th start. Right now he is a 5 inning kid but will strike out his fair share of hitters. 2 successful road starts under his belt at Cincy and at the Mets. 9.1 innings 13 Ks 6 hits. Again. They don't let him go that deep, but, maybe off that wild 11-10 game they let him get to 100 pitchers and start stretching him out. Short price for the best team in the league. This is not a big hate on Stroman who has been more than solid on the year. A pair of clunkers vs the Dodgers and at the Twins, but otherwise, he hasn't allowed more than 2 runs in any of his other 9 starts. Have to grab the better him club at this price.
