20* Creighton Blue Jays
Tonight I am taking Creighton on the money line as small favorites against Georgetown. The reason for this is because we have lost 3 absolute brutal games by teams winning but losing ATS by less than a point or two. Texas on Monday and Indiana last week are prime examples off the top of my head. When the ML is this small its worth laying the little bit extra. Now on to tonight's matchup. Creighton was one of the top 5-10 team in the country and even without their point guard and leading assist man Maurice Watson Jr. They are still a top 25 team. They had no trouble scoring in their first game without him, although defense was a different story. They are still much better than Georgetown and they Hoyas have lost 16 straight conference games against everyone minus St. Johns and Depaul. Creighton needs a win to get themselves back on track in more ways than one. If they lose this game it could send them into a major freefall but I don't believe that will be the case. They are going to be extremely focused and highly motivated to get back in the win column against an inferior opponent. Take Creighton as they get it done tonight!
