20* Pittsburgh Pirates
Tonight I am taking the Pittsburgh Pirates on the road against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Pirates looked to be in good position just 3 days ago. 4 games out of first with 7 games against the worst two teams in the National League (record wise) ahead. The Giants are much better than their record indicates but nonetheless the Pirates couldn't afford that sweep. These next 7 games will decide a lot for Pittsburgh because they are still only 6 games out of first in the division race. Tonight Ivan Nova takes the mound and he has been the Pirates best pitcher by far this year and I look for him to be the stopper this team needs right now and come out and pitch a quality game. Take Pittsburgh as they are a very desperate and highly motivated squad.
