This is a 10* NL EAST TOY on the UNDER Nats/Mets.

These teams have been involved in some higher-scoring affairs of late, but considering the talent of these starters, I say it's the correct time to pull the trigger on a play of this magnitude.

For me, this one starts and ends with the starters in this early start divisional contest from New York.

Mackenzie Gore is 6-7 with a 3.83 ERA for the Nationals (note that his ERA drops to 3.35 on the road), while the home side counters with David Peteson (3-0, 3.58.)

Gore has a big chance to return to form here before the break after an admittedly tough month. That said, I say this "on again, off again" Mets offense is just what the doctor orered to get untracked.

Peterson is off an unfortunate no-decision vs. the Pirates, alowing two runs with five K's over five innings.

I say these two guys rebound, battle into the latter frames, and because of that, this total will indeed stay well UNDER the number once it's all said and done.
