This is a 10* NL TOW on the OVER Nats/D-Backs.
I have very little faith in either starter in this one, and as such, I'm going to be recommending a play on the OVER.
Washington turns to the erratic Mitchell Parker (5-6, 4.34 ERA), who was shelled for six runs off seven hits over three innings in a loss to the Padres in his last outing. He was terrible in his last outing before the All Star break as well.
Arizona counters with Jordan Montgomery (7-5, 6.11 ERA), who actually earned a win in his last outing by giving up one run over five innings to the Royals. It was easily his best outing of the season, and to say I'm skeptical that he's suddenly "turned a corner" would be an undestatement. Also note that he's just 3-3 with a ballooned 7.93 ERA in front of the home town crowd this season.
In my opinion, everything points to this total flying OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
