This is a 10* TOTAL BK on the OVER Mets/Mariners.

I had a play on the "over" in yesterday's game, and unfortunately that came up short. The Mets have now been shutout in back-to-back games, and suffice it to say, I'm now definitely expecting the visitors to respond here on Sunday, and while that may not in fact result in a victory, nonetheless I'm expecting plenty of scoring action.

New York has in fact seen the total go OVER the number in seven of its last ten in trying to avenge two or more straight road losses vs. an opponent. And despite yesterday's 4-0 loss, the Mets have also seen the total eclipse the posted number in eight of their last 12 after getting shutout in their previous outing.

We have two really decent starting pitchers going head-to-head here, with the Mets turning to Luis Severino and the Mariners countering with Louis Castillo, but the overall situation, combined with the numbers/trends all point to this total eclipsing the posted number sooner, rather than later.
