SITUATIONAL PITCHER DOMINATION - EARLY FIRST PITCH!
(MLB) Braves (ATL) vs. Angels (LAA),
Money Line: -164.00 Braves (ATL) (Away)
Result: Win
This is an 8* PITCHER DOMINATION on the Braves.

It's a really tight race for the NL Wildcard spots, with Atlanta and Arizona tied for the second and third spots, but only one game up on the Mets.

Atlanta broke a two-game slide with yesterday's 11-3 victory, andI think it'll build off that performance here in a very favorable starting pitching matchup.

LA's issues are well-known this year and now the Angels hand the ball to the volatile Jack Kochanowicz (1-2, 7.98 ERA), who actually looked good in his first start back after being sent down following two poor starts back in July. Kochanowicz gave up just two runs over 7.2 innings in a win over the Nationals in his last outing.

But still, Charlie Morton (6-7, 4.40) is the correct call in this matchup in my opinion. He most recently conceded two runs over six innings in a no-decision vs. San Francisco. Also note that Morton is 4-2 with a 3.90 ERA in 11 career outings vs. LA.

I'm laying the price and looking for ATLANTA to find a way to take advantage of this situation and deliver the goods in the end.

Good luck, NP
