This is a 10* SHOCKER on Stanford.

Every single "talking head" out there is all over TCU in this one and nearly 85% of the early public money is also on the visitors. This naturally greatly appeals to my contrarian nature.

I'm not calling for an outright upset, but the Cardinal can do enough to sneak in through the back door down the stretch.

This is Stanford's first game as a member of the ACC. The Cardinal may have gone 3-9 last year, but that's why everyone is quick to overlook them here.

Sonny Dykes and TCU roll into town as a big favorite, and I don't think that Josh Hoover and company will be able to cover the large spread.

TCU was just 5-7 last year and it famously got upset in its first game vs. Colorado, after going to the National championship game the year before.

Stanford QB Ashton Daniel and WR Elic Aymanor are going to keep their team competitive on opening night in the second half of this one, as TCU takes the foot off the mental gas pedal in the second half, looking ahead to home games vs. light-weight LIU and then a much-improved UCF team in Week 3.
