This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the Twins.

This is an interesting Interleague series, with each team tied for the second Wildcard spot in their respective divisions.

All things being equal here though, I think that Bailey Ober at home at this price is the correct call.

Ober is 12-5 with a 3.54 ERA and 0.99 WHIP, while his counterpart Max Fried is 7-7 with a 3.57 ERA.

Both teams are coming off losses yesterday.

Fried is coming off a decent start vs. Philly, but previous to that was 0-4 with a 6.31 ERA over five outings.

Ober has posted 11 straight quality starts, going 7-1 with a 2.09 ERA while generating a sharp 80:16 K:BB spanning 73 1/3 innings of work.

Ober is also 4-1 with a 3.65 ERA in 15 career IL starts.

I say the book is still out on Fried. I say Ober at this price is FOR SURE worthy of a "second look."
